Let me tell you something, I am not doing any copy-paste work for these explanations. You may think, This author is an expert in only one category of these. While it’s true that I am the only expert in 2 of these.
But, I have a good experience in all of these categories except the video & animations part. Yes, You can call me a jack of all trades.
Article & Blog Posts Writing
I apologize to the experts. Because I am not very experienced in this category compared to the other ones.
Article & Blog posts are a very familiar thing to you if you read anything on https://www.medium.com or any blog website. Yes, you got it right! Articles are nothing but writings about any topic.
Articles/Blog Posts can be about any topic like business tips, Language learning, Game or Movie Reviews, Motivation or Self-improvement, earning online, etc.
Blog Posts are a good way of promoting businesses, companies. They mostly hire professionals to do the task. These people do amazing writings that attract others. They even add images, links, videos to it for making it easy to understand for the readers.
Ebook Writing & Cover Design
Ebook writing is getting hypes day by day. Why not? It makes publications a very simple process. The purchase process of ebooks is also easy compared to normal books.
You write the ebook using your pc or mobile. selling ebooks has turned into a standalone business. People are even hiring ebook writers to write it for them.
Another category has evolved from the necessity of Ebooks and that is Book & Ebook Cover Design. The author believes the professional more than himself for this work unless the person is an artist and can make the design himself.

Content writer is hired for writing the content. He will put suitable content on the project. The designer will then put it on the design. The content writer makes the content of websites, apps, softwares, etc.
On the other hand, UX writer does a more advanced work. He writes content as it suits the audiences. His main motive is to put good writing in the perfect places. He has to know what will get the attraction of the header & What is needed to be added and removed in order to make the business model easy.
These days, the content writer also needs to be an expert in UX writing. Hence, UX writing is now merged with content writing service. If you want to have one skill in this category, you will soon have to know the other one too.
Video & Animations
There are a lot of things you can do in this category. Everybody knows that videos are more powerful than words. (Mostly) Hence, A professional video is essential for every big work.

WordPress is a CMS built on PHP. WordPress Development is a simple skill and has a lot of career opportunities right now.
Small businesses don’t have big budgets, they want to save their money. They make get their website from a WordPress developer.
Web Developers charge a lot more than WordPress Developers for websites. WordPress isn’t a good choice for complex full-stack web apps.
But for simple websites, It works great. So, If the business is small in budget and starting out with a simple website, they use a WordPress Developer.

Thinking and designing the website layout, the content idea is called web design or you can tell “UI/UX Design”. Basically, you make the concept of the layout. Also, use texts provided by the content writer or dummy text.
Web UI/UX Designing is a great skillset. It is getting popularity day by day as people are getting aware of their website layout, interface. The Designer does the design a Wireframing, UI/UX, or an illustrating Software.
Sometimes, clients tell the designers “Deliver me the website, not only the design!”. Then the designer has to contact a developer and give him the design or he can code it himself.

This career is pretty great for you if you like to warm up your brain all the time. An expert Web Developer needs to learn many languages like HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, Java, GoLang, Python, etc.
Believe this category is where you have to learn many things and constantly keep learning. But you will definitely have fun in the adventure. It’s the last career I chose and I am currently a Full-time Web Developer!

CMS Developer is a person who is an expert on CMS, multiple CMS Softwares. Like WordPress, Joomla, Shopify, Magento, Ghost, BigCommerce, etc. We previously discussed WordPress, It’s a CMS! (wordpress.org)

Ecommerce websites, big progress for businesses. But Managing online stores consumes a lot of time. It is also a bit of nerdy stuff! So, Why won’t they hire professionals for this work?
Ecommerce management work consists of product management, support management, maintaining the CMS, etc. Also, there might be a recruiting process if any changes are needed. Hiring and partially managing them is also work.
Virtual Assistance
Many people don’t have the time to check all their emails every day, or trying to learn about a topic for hours and hours. They don’t have time to document their paperwork, invoices, etc. They hire another hand for these works while they can concentrate on their big works.
